I remember that last summer I went on holidays to visiting to my family in Chillan. There I join with my cousins and uncles, where we did a roast of beef in the field. We ate and drank very much during all the evening. Later with some cousins we went to walk, crossed a forest and came to a river, where we swam because was a hot summer evening. But the best vacations that I have had it was one year when I travel to Temuco, also where some family. There, I saw many beautiful places of this region: Lakes, volcanoes, rivers and forests of araucarias. This was the best vacations because I could know many places that I never had seen before.

Holiday Memories

But the best vacations that I have had it was one year in which I travel to Temuco. There I saw many beautiful places around that area. Lakes, volcanoes, rivers and forests of araucarias, this were one good vacations because I could know many places that I had not known before.

September eighteen

I think that September eighteen isn’t a date as significant as other in the history of Chile. But some historical facts and the tradition led to this day we celebrate the Fiestas Patrias. People often confuse this date with the day of independence, but this isn’t true.

However this date is an important occasion where the Chileans show the cultural aspects that define us, like the essence of a Chilean and is very interesting as the most of Chileans are identified by that date.

The holiday often may be longer, and in this day people go to the Fondas, dance, eat and drink a lot. All days of Fiestas Patrias people is happier and try to enjoy the most possible. I like to go to Fondas, and eating grilled meat. The kites are also typical of this date and sometimes I fly a kite as a child.
